Allen Shelton started out by experimenting with different forms of photography while exploring the field of journalism. Later on during his explorations to Europe he found that he enjoyed the beauty of photographing the local architecture. Upon returning to the states he had a renewed interest in photography and began shooting portrait shots. Allen then focused on fashion photography while owning a fashion related business and decided to follow his life’s ambition of general photography. Soon his name had spread to his surrounding community, which he takes an active part-in. Today, Allen focuses on anything that can be construed as beautiful, from the girl next door to the vast openness of the plains of West Texas. Allen is a leading photographer in San Antonio and always strives to create a lasting impression on the people he works with and the community in which he works.
